Dear Friends,

 

Welcome 2021! Typically my first newsletter of every year is filled with family pictures and remembrances of a holiday season well spent. This year we all connected by phone, sending pictures and texts as we shared the time together while being apart. I am hopeful that the vaccine will help to bring an end to the scourge of this disease. I think all of us could really benefit from a group hug right now.

 

January promises to be a productive time and I’m off to a wonderful start in my Mathews studio. I have been working on pieces for the Moss Gallery of Blacksburg and Iowa Public Television (IPTV). These will be my first two shows of 2021, albeit IPTV will be done virtually. I will have more information on each of these events in a future newsletter.

 

Here is one of my new pieces that I’ve been working on which was inspired by a visit to France a couple of years ago. Do you like it?
