Dear Friends,

As I look out over my yard, I see the tips of daffodil leaves poking out of the soil. It’s the little signs of spring to come that helps all of us see past the inclement weather. We endured a little rough weather the second day of my show with the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Blacksburg. I have pictures with stories to share with you.

The Blacksburg Gallery was beautifully hung by manager Wendy Nester (seated) and her staff. It is always a pleasure to visit. If you look closely on the right side, you will see the 2023 Moss Foundation Quilt on display. It will be in the gallery until I travel again. Tickets may be purchased there or by calling the Foundation office at 800-430-1320.

How delightful to spend some time with dear friends Linda Markham, and her daughter Mendy. We had a lot of catching up to do. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mendy’s friend, Dana Garman. Pictured from L to R: Mendy, me, Linda and Dana.

I loved where the gallery set up my signing table. I got to enjoy the floral arrangements as well as some carefully tended poinsettias from our December show.

On Sunday I had the pleasure of making a special new friend. Ryleigh Van Hoozier asked her mother to bring her to the gallery to meet me. We hit it off, and I put her to work helping me with the drawing for the Valentine’s gift basket.

The Valentine’s gift basket contents were even more spectacular once it was unwrapped. Our recipient, Bonnie Werner of Pulaski was thrilled to receive it.

Perhaps my greatest joy comes from sharing my work with you. Thank you everyone who came to the show, you made my weekend.

Pam and her staff put together a fabulous dinner last year. As promised, I have this year’s menu to share with you. Being of Italian descent, it has certainly caught my attention.
