Dear Friends,

Wedding bells will be ringing soon as my granddaughter Kristina was recently engaged to Nicholas Burroughs. Kristina is the oldest daughter of my son Chris’s family. She and Nicholas met 6 years ago during her first semester of college. I was thrilled to receive these pictures from her and as a proud grandmother I want to share them with you.

A visit to the Magic Kingdom was truly magical for Kristina and Nicholas!

I cherish all the memories of my grandchildren’s lives, but sometimes I wish that the train
of time would slow down a bit.

Here is Kristina as a baby and at 5 years old. Seems like yesterday.

For quite a few years now, two of my images have been on the labels of Barren Ridge Vineyard wines. Rather than some detailed business arrangement for rights to the image, we forged a simple agreement that Barren Ridge would make a $.50 donation to my Foundation per bottle sold. The Foundation office has just received a $2,520.50 check from them for 2019 sales. I am so grateful for this donation and their generosity every year. This amount will have a significant impact on the ability of the board to fund educational programs this year.

We will be serving Barren Ridge wines at the July 11th Moss Foundation Dinner in Waynesboro. I encourage everyone coming to Waynesboro for the Summer Barn Show and Gallery Open House (July 10 – 12) to build extra time into your schedule and go visit this local jewel. Barren Ridge is only minutes away from Waynesboro. Think of it as the perfect pairing with a gallery visit. Here is a link to learn more about them.

My print
Winter’s Fellowship is featured on the label of Tinkling Spring white wine.

I think my friends in Hanover Pennsylvania have the “what to do in winter” agenda perfected. On Wednesday evenings Martin’s Gallery opens the doors to receive the members of the S and B club. This club began approximately 8 years ago when gallery owner Pat Martin wanted to learn to knit prior to the arrival of her granddaughter Payton. Friend, and fellow Moss Society member Sally Gobrecht volunteered to teach and the group has grown from there. S and B has lent a helping hand to the Hanover community through the donation of beautifully crafted handwork of all types. What better way to spend a wintery Wednesday night is there than dinner, stitching and good conversation?

Art meets art. S and B members all smiles in Martin’s Gallery for an evening together.

Until next week,
