Dear Friends,

I have been waking up to bird song lately, and I can’t think of a better way for starting a day. Another sign of the changing season makes its appearance this weekend when we spring forward as daylight savings time returns. I am also thinking ahead to my upcoming shows in April, and I have Information to share with you.

On April 1st, I will be returning to Winchester, VA for a one day show with my friends at King James Galleries. You may remember that last year the gallery and I released a print titled Blossoms of the Valley. It was created to celebrate Virginia’s apple capital. Seasonally, I find the apple tree beautiful, so for my fall show with them I created Apples of the Valley.  The April 1st release, which is the summer version of the apple tree, is on my drawing table nearing completion. I will have a picture soon.

The hours for my show with King James Galleries of Winchester are 11 am until 3 pm. For inquiries regarding my show, special print requests, or for custom framing, please call 540-869-9025.

Congratulations are in order for my friend Kenny Brooks who coaches the Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball team. The Lady Hokies are ACC Champions and will be in the NCAA tournament this month. Coach Kenny, like me, hails from Waynesboro, VA. I have been following this team for several years now and enjoy going to their home games. I have met a number of the women and watched them grow in the game under the guidance of Coach Kenny. I hope they do well in their upcoming matches and with a little luck, I will have tickets to one.
