My show last Saturday with King James Galleries of Winchester came and went so quickly! It was good to see gallery manager Marian Sempeles again, but we had little time to talk. So many of you came to the show, and for that I am grateful.

Almost every gallery visit I make also involves a new print release. However, it is such fun to see and sign some of my work from the early 1990’s.

What a pleasant surprise to see dear friend Cathy Gorsuch and to meet her niece, Natalie who is a talented budding artist.

I had a great time in Winchester and will be returning a second time this year in the Fall. The date is Saturday, October 29th. See you then.
In 2 weeks I return to Waynesboro for a 3 day open house with the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Waynesboro. Maintenance repairs are still underway at my Barn necessitating a change in my regular schedule for a Waynesboro visit. For this 3 day show, I will be in the heart of town at 329 West Main St. Apparently the city has also been motivated to perform maintenance repairs, and our gallery received a facelift on the facade. I can’t wait to see it. For release at this show, I have created a new print titled, Morning Air. It is based on my remembrances of life in the valley, which includes the morning dew.

The official release date for my new print, Morning Air, is Friday, April 22nd.
Pre-orders are being accepted by the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Waynesboro now. Please call 540-949-6473. The price is $85, and the image size is 9.6” x 11.5”.
Did you know that April is National Poetry Month? The American Academy of Poets created this event in 1996 to acknowledge and celebrate the role poetry plays in our culture. Poet Donovan Beck has observed, “I think poets are just people who take notes on the universe.” With that in mind, I have a short poem titled, Spring, to share with you. It was written by William Carlos Williams and was published in 1919 in Poetry Magazine.
“O my grey hairs!
You are truly white as plum blossoms.”
Until next week,
Love,
