Dear Friends,

Welcome to Waynesboro!
What a great time we had together in Waynesboro, wouldn’t you agree? How wonderful to see so many of you. It even seemed like the redbuds were more vibrant this year, as if they were celebrating our return.

I am so grateful to everyone who came to the Moss Gallery of Waynesboro and to the gallery staff who made my stay so pleasant. I’d also like to thank my dear friend Bob Almond for the lovely flower arrangement that adorned my signing table.
My next show will be here in no time. I will be returning to 3rd Avenue Art Gallery in Huntington, WV for a one day gallery open house on May the 8th from 10 am until 5 pm. I love that the location of this gallery affords me the opportunity to see my Kentucky and Ohio friends too. For release at this show, I have painted a beloved local landmark, Camden Park. While the painting highlights this particular amusement park, it also evokes a nostalgia within each of us as we remember our own childhood. I had a lot of fun creating this piece and I hope you enjoy it.

My new print titled Camden Park will be available in 2 sizes. IS: 7-1/4 x 11-1/4 ins. $75; IS: 11 x 17 ins. $160. Edition 500 and 25 ap’s. You may preorder your print by contacting Robert or Patti at the gallery by calling 304-522-1112.
Did you know that April is National Gardening Month? April can certainly present some challenges weather-wise as our friends in the Midwest can currently attest to. I have always had a passion for growing plants and having them surround me in my studio. Since I will be on the road more this year, I will be sharing gardening duties with my daughter Patty in Mathews, VA. I’m really looking forward to it.

Patty took one of the sheds on the property and converted it into a greenhouse/nursery. She planted vegetables, flowers and herb seeds. Wouldn’t you know it, the garlic sprouted first!
Until next week,
Love,
