Dear Friends,

I would like to thank everyone who took time to send me such thoughtful birthday greetings. You made my day so special! I don’t think I will ever get too old to appreciate being remembered.

I enjoyed all of my visitors during last weekend’s show with the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Blacksburg including these early morning visitors to my Radford home

The show in Blacksburg last weekend had much of the feeling of a homecoming. With the recent relaxation of covid prevention limitations regarding public gatherings, it was such a welcome sight to see you.

Joining me in this photo is a happy Justin Ward from Radford University. He is holding his newly acquired #1 print of
The Fountain, Radford University. I created this commemorative print for RU to raise funds for the P Buckley Moss Teaching Scholarship that was established by the university for aspiring teachers. This print is available online,, or at the Moss Gallery of Blacksburg. The Fountain, Radford University. Issued in 2021. Giclee on paper. Small: $125, IS: 9-1/2 x 16 ins. Medium: $325, IS: 15-1/8 x 25-1/2 ins. Edition: 1,250 and 25 artist's proofs.

My friends from the Renaissance Music Academy of Virginia stopped in to say hello. How I have missed hearing the sweet music of their students filling the gallery. It won’t be long until we can host them again.

Thrilled to be at my signing table without a plexiglass barrier, I was delighted with observing the activity of our friends and visitors browsing at the gallery
. It was so nice to have you there. Thank you for coming.

My next show will be the Summer Barn Show and Gallery Open House in Waynesboro, Virginia, scheduled for July 9th through the 12th. For release at this event, I have created a very special print. My inspiration came from one of the historic mills located near the town of Edinburg on Stony Creek. The Lantz Mill is one of 14 mills that were built on this creek. It is estimated that the mill was built around 1814, burned in 1864 and rebuilt in 1866. What is remarkable is that the mill today retains most of its 19th century flour equipment, and it’s intact.

This is my original painting for the new print,
Lantz Mill. The official release date is July 9th at the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Waynesboro. You may preorder your print by contacting the gallery at 540-949-6473.

Until next week,
