Dear Friends,
It will be a few weeks until my next show and this is providing me a little time to get caught up with some gardening. Each year I delight at all the flowers as they reappear in their season. This week I am anxiously awaiting the bloom of the Moss lily. Some of you may remember the origin of the Moss lily. This hybrid daylily was developed in York, PA by Stuart and Diane Kendig of Perfect Perennials. I remember it being a “hot item” at the auction held at the 2007 Moss Society Convention which was held in Lancaster, PA in July.

The beautiful Moss lily from my photo collection.

My daughter Patty shares my love of gardening shown here with me in this recent photo at my Chesapeake Bay home. I can’t wait for the first tomatoes!
My schedule is constantly changing and I have the latest revision for you. Remember, it is best to contact your local gallery prior to any show in the event something has changed. After last year, I am excited to get on the road to see you.

Cicero once said, “If you have a garden and a library, you have all you need.” I’d like to amend that to include the love of family and friends.
Until next week,
Love,
