Dear Friends,

While sitting at my drawing table this morning, I was astounded to see on my calendar that it is already July! Historically, July has been a month shared with friends and collectors as we have gathered at my home and gallery in Waynesboro for the Summer Barn Show and Gallery Open House. Perhaps it is the recent loss of my son, or the losses all of us have endured from the pandemic, but I feel more energized for this show than I have in some time. The P Buckley Moss Gallery of Waynesboro is feeling it too and I have a few treasures to share with you that we have collaborated on for this show.

Corrado’s framing of two remarqued show prints, Blue Ridge Summer, perfectly captures the rustic feel of the countryside. Please note that there are many framing options available for you to choose from. Also, I invite you to look closely at these 2 remarques and compare them to the original print release (pictured in the center). How many differences can you find?

This untitled original watercolor is the latest painting to join my portfolio of original work. I was particularly pleased with how it turned out. This painting, along with other new original watercolors will be on display at the gallery during the show, July 8th through the 10th. I have to tell you that I am really excited to see all of you at the Moss Foundation Dinner at my house on July 9th. For the silent auction, my daughter Mary has created and donated a quilt that is made with the Moss fabric line that came out a few years ago. Northcott Fabric produced a series of my images on cotton on or around 2018 and titled the edition, Amish Life. It was a very limited run and the fabric has long been sold out. This beautifully crafted quilt is a magnificent treasure.

What a special donation to receive for the Moss Foundation auction! I am so grateful. The Moss quilt measures approximately 4-1/2 feet by 3-1/2 feet.
