Mathews Market Days is being held on Friday, September the 8th and Saturday, the 9th. This is the weekend after Labor Day so you will want to mark your calendar and head for the Bay! My distribution center will be open both days during the festival so friends and collectors may stop by for a tour. Festival goers will find a Moss Galleries booth in the courthouse square. A second booth will be in the children’s area for the Moss Foundation to share another great art project. As many of you know, I lived in Mathews for quite a few years. I still keep a studio there and return from time to time. I am looking forward to seeing you in Mathews for this special weekend. Here are a few highlights of what you will see.

Welcome to the Moss Portfolio! My distribution Center has been located in Mathews County since the early 1990’s. Nestled on acreage that used to be part of a large farm, the Portfolio looks like a big home and sits a ways off the road. The address is 74 Poplar Grove Lane. Parking is in the back and you will enter the building from there.

Upon entering the Portfolio, you will find a showroom with me waiting. My signing hours for the weekend will be 11 am until 4 pm on both days.

Moss porcelain products are all hand made in Mathews. Your Moss Society brooch, the ornaments, trivets and tiles are designed and fired here. During your visit you may visit the kiln room and learn about the porcelain processes.
