The pleasant feelings of October are best when shared with friends, wouldn’t you agree? My love and thanks to King James Galleries of Gettysburg for hosting a tremendous show, and to all my friends and collectors who came to see me.

Lifelong friends and now part of the extended Moss family, Pat Martin (L) and Sally Gobrecht (R) met me at Gettysburg’s famous Dobbin House Tavern. Pat is the owner of Martin’s Gallery in Hanover, PA and has been a Moss dealer since 1981. Sally has been a tireless champion of the Moss Society and serves as president for the very active Lake Marburg Chapter.

Welcome to the Dobbin House 2015. I painted and released this print showcasing this historic house. Built in 1776 by Reverend Alexander Dobbin, this house has served as a stop for the Underground Railroad, and as a hospital following the Battle of Gettysburg. Giclée on paper. I met twins Sidney and Lydia at my Barn years ago, and was surprised and delighted to see them again in Gettysburg. The print I am holding is titled The Twins, which their mother purchased some time ago. They brought it to the show and asked me to sign and personalize it for them. Their visit provided a gentle reminder that you don’t know at the time you meet someone what effect you may have on them.

Today I am on the road to Ohio with my daughter Becky for the big extravaganza and open house hosted by Berlin Creek Gallery. The weekend is filled with activities, and although Friday night’s dinner with me is sold out, there are a limited number of seats available for the Saturday night dinner. My Fall Barn Show and Gallery Open House will be here in no time. The P Buckley Moss Gallery of Waynesboro and I will be releasing my new print Afternoon Outing. I am pleased to share with you some pictures of the piece framed. Afternoon Outing is filled with color, so it readily lends itself to a variety of colorful mats. I am having a difficult time picking a favorite.

Dynamic and bold, this framed version of Afternoon Outing is visually captivating. The color combinations are varied and complex, but work well with the frame.

I am also enthralled with this framing choice. Notice how Afternoon Outing takes on a different mood. Which one is your favorite?

For the Waynesboro show, I will be signing at my Barn on Friday, October 13th from 11 am until 4 pm. The next two days you can find me in the heart of Waynesboro at the gallery located at 329 W Main St. Saturday’s hours are 11 am until 4 pm, and Sunday I’ll be there from noon until 3 pm.
