Dear Friends,

The colorful leaves are magnificent this week as I make my way to Waynesville, Ohio for my weekend show with Canada Goose Gallery, which begins at 10 am on Friday, October 20th. Have you ever been to Waynesville, Ohio? This charming village was founded in 1797 which makes it older than the state of Ohio (1803). The area is rich with history, so over the years Canada Goose Gallery and I have worked together on numerous print releases that tell a story. This year’s release, Autumn Tapestry, speaks of the changing season and features the Blue Jay. Also during this year’s show, the gallery will be hosting a multi-basket raffle to generate funding for local breast cancer support group Pals for Life. Over the years I have enjoyed working with this group and we have become friends. The Pals group provides assistance for prostheses, cancer counselling along with educational programs and much needed fellowship. To view the raffle items, please follow this link.

and I have been good friends for some time, so it is fun to revisit memories from past shows. In this photo, gallery owner Laura Deramus enjoys dinner with me at a fundraiser from 2007.

Autumn Tapestry is available in 2 sizes. Small IS: 11”x 8.5”

$80. Medium IS: 20” x 15.6” $340. I will be at the gallery to meet you on both days beginning at 10 am. Friday’s show goes until 5 pm, Saturday, until 4 pm. See you there.

Albert Schweitzer once said, “At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.” I don’t think my light will even dim given the love that all of you showered on me this weekend at my show with the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Waynesboro. Thank you for coming. The weekend opened with the release of my new print Autumn Outing, and concluded with the drawing for the lovely gallery gift basket. In pictures, here is what happened in between.

My signing table and heart were full every hour of the show.

Dear friend Shirley Collins and my daughters Patty (R) and Becky (not pictured) worked tirelessly to assist the gallery staff.

The Moss Foundation’s art booth was busy and ultimately a messy place as the children studiously designed and created their Oculus.

During the Fall Foliage Festival, students from Westwood Elementary were tasked with giving out awards for their favorite art work. I am so happy to have been the recipient of the Genius award for Turquoise Treasure!

The P Buckley Moss Gallery of Waynesboro will host my Winter Barn Show and Gallery Open House on December 1st through the 3rd. I’m looking forward to seeing you again.

The October portion of my show schedule closes with a visit to King James Galleries of Winchester. I am pleased to share with you the 4th and final print created to celebrate the 4 seasons of apple country. The date for our show is Saturday, October 28th.

Winter in the Valley. My hours at the gallery will be 10 am until 3 pm.

Until next week,
