Dear Friends,

I am at home enjoying some time at my mountain home before embarking on my next journey. Many of the leaves have fallen and their dancing in the wind provides entertainment for Pi the cat. My suitcases are ready to go for my next show this coming weekend at King James Galleries of Gettysburg. Debra Starry manages this gallery and asked me to share the gallery’s current guidelines for this show. She said, “Prior to your arrival at the gallery, we are asking all visitors to set up an appointment. This will maximize the amount of time you may spend in the gallery and help all of us adhere to Pennsylvania’s Covid prevention plan. Additionally you will need to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth.” To set up an appointment, please call 717-398-2034. The show times are 5 pm until 7 pm on Friday, and 10 am until 3 pm on Saturday. Debra also said, “please know that no one will be turned away if they did not call ahead.”

The frame shop at King James Galleries of Gettysburg has been a busy place in preparation for
my show. My new print Paw Prints on Our Heart, shown here, is one of two prints that are being released this weekend. Local animal shelter Adams County SPCA will be the recipient of a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this print.

Gallery staff member Sandy Crone is pictured here with both of my new prints framed for this show.
Sitting on the counter is an animal themed basket that will be raffled off by the gallery to generate additional funding for Adams County SPCA. The tickets will be one dollar each. Estimated basket value is $65.

I love King James Galleries new “Wall of Moss.”

My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our “over too soon” trip to Waynesville, Ohio and I have pictures to share with you from this show with Canada Goose Gallery.

Truly a remarkable place staffed with wonderful people, our visit to The Black Barn was outstanding. I hope to return in the spring and see all the floral greenhouses in action

What a pleasure to meet Rachel Etherington and see my work beautifully rendered in counted cross stitch

I can’t believe that has been two years since I sat down with Rochelle Collins of Lebanon TV 6, but we picked up our conversation just like it was yesterday. The interview centered around the fundraising project by the gallery in support of children’s educational programs administered by the Lebanon Alumni Association. If you look closely, you’ll see my new print, Our Black Barn, which Canada Goose Gallery donated a portion of the proceeds from sales to this worthy cause.

Home, or being at home, has certainly been a central focus for 2020. In keeping with that theme, I have created my annual Christmas print. The title is Love Brings You Home. It is a companion print to my 2018 Christmas print release of All Roads Lead Home.

From 2018 (L): All Roads Lead Home, $80, IS: 8-1/2 x 11-7/16 ins.
Edition: 1,000 and 25 artist's proofs.
New for 2020 (R): Love Brings You Home, $80, IS: 8-1/2 x 11-5/16 ins. Edition 1,000 and 25 ap’s

I need to make you aware that there is an update in my schedule. The December 11th and 12th show with Gallery Art Center in Columbus, Ohio has been postponed. A new date has not been set.

Remember to set your clocks back this Sunday, November 1st.
