Dear Friends,

Happy Halloween! October 31st marks the end of the 10th month of 2019, and I find myself wondering where the time has gone. I am a little more than halfway through my fall show season. Currently my daughter Becky and I are on the road to Columbus, Ohio for a 2 day gallery open house. We will be at Gallery Art Center beginning on November 1st. Along the way, we will be stopping in Pittsburgh to celebrate and to say a fond farewell to the Three Rivers Chapter of the Moss Society. I’m really excited to see everyone, and my sister-in-law, Carolyn Buckley will be joining us.

Gallery Art Center shows are certainly one of the best, and if you haven’t been to one, you really should go. Owners Suzi and Peter are always most gracious and welcoming. The gallery is located at 4725 A Reed St. in Columbus and we will be welcoming friends and collectors from 10 am until 5 pm each day. For this show, they have chosen to release my new print, Piazza San Marco. This print is a continuation of my Italian memories collection inspired by my spring trip there.

My Italian Collection, clockwise from upper LH corner:
Treasure of Venice, IS: 5 x 5 ins., Edition: 500 and 25 artist's proofs $50; Piazza San Marco (New), $85, IS: 10-3/4 x 9-1/8 ins. Edition 250 and 25 ap’s; Rialto Remembered, $85, IS: 8 x 12-7/16 ins., Edition 500 and 25 ap’s; Basilica of Santa Maria Della Salute, $85, IS: 12-5/16 x 8 ins., Edition 500 and 25 ap’s.

Speaking of Moss Society trips, have you thought about joining me on the 2020 Moss Society adventure to the British Isles? There’s still time to sign up and receive the $200 travel discount that is being offered to our group through November 22nd. The trip dates are May 22nd through June 5, 2020. If you’re not a Moss Society member, please know that you are invited too. Membership is not a requirement. I am putting the link here to the brochure so that you can read about this fantastic journey,

I’m looking forward to seeing Edinburgh Castle again and sharing it with you.

Last weekend I was in Ohio at Canada Goose Gallery in Waynesville. A fun, full schedule and busy gallery kept my daughter Patty and me on our toes. We met with P.E.O. sisters, released new artwork, reunited with friends and collectors, and helped raised money to support PALS for Life at the annual fundraising dinner. Gallery owner, Laura Deramus, coordinated all of this, and she has my deepest gratitude for her commitment and hard work.

Full house. Thank you to everyone who came.

Holding my new print, Little Marguerite, are visiting members of the local chapter of P.E.O. I love that I meet P.E.O. sisters everywhere and I am proud to be part of their efforts to help with women’s education.

How it warmed my heart to see the smiling faces of Rita Sheets, Randy and Ginny Myers greet me at the gallery!

Some of you have noticed that I have been wearing a new dogwood pendant. This was an idea put forth by some Moss Society members, so I designed one. It is a new item that is being offered to the premier and choice members of the Society as an alternative to the bead. You may wear it on a necklace or attach it to a bracelet. Like the bead, it is made of sterling silver. If you choose, you may contact the Society office and request the pendant in lieu of the bead for 2019. Just email, or call 804-725-7378.

November 9th I will be in Winchester, Virginia for a 1 day show with my friends at King James Galleries. Here is a preview of the print which we will be releasing together. I will have more to share about this show in next week’s newsletter.

Christmas at the Taylor Hotel, Winchester, VA, $100, IS: 8-13/16 x 13-1/2 ins. Edition 250 and 25 ap’s
