Dear Friends:
I spent a quiet New Year’s at my home in the woods in Radford, Virginia, and it was wonderful to relax in front of the fire. Happy New Year to all, and may this year treat us all kindly.
I’ve also been working and just finished a painting of a Jack Russell Terrier and one of a dachshund. These will be released as giclée prints soon.
These paintings of a Jack Russell Terrier (above) and a dachshund (below) will be released soon as giclées on paper.
I’ve also been working on a painting of Lane Hall at Virginia Tech. Lane Hall was completed in 1888 and was originally known as Barracks No. 1. It housed the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets until 1967 when it was converted to academic office use. Today, it contains offices for disciplines in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. It is the centerpiece building of the Upper Quad. I’ll share a picture of the painting when it’s further along, and we look forward to releasing it sometime this spring.
Stay warm!
Love,
Pat
