Dear Friends:
I’ve just put the finishing touches on the paintings for the 2007
Society Members Only Prints. These prints will only be available to
those who either join the P. Buckley
Moss Society or renew their existing memberships in 2007. The prints
will be ready for shipment spring of 2008. The Society’s theme
this year, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary, is “Touching
Lives for 20 Years.” In keeping with the theme, the adult members
only print will be titled Touching Lives, and the junior members
only print will be titled Leading the Way.

(which will become available in 2008 to those who are members in 2007).
Leading the Way - the 2007 Junior Members Only Print.
The Society has three fun birthday parties planned for
this year. The first one will be held the evening of April 28 at the
Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, Iowa, and I’ll be showing that weekend
with Kenneth Paul Gallery at their two locations in nearby West Des
Moines and Urbandale, too. The second party will be held at my Museum
in Waynesboro, Virginia, on June 15. The third party will take place
in the fall in the Pennsylvania area. Stay tuned for details.
I’ve also just finished a painting that will make a very nice
anniversary or wedding gift. It’s titled With Love in My Heart,
and everyone who has seen it so far has been very excited about it,
which of course pleases me very much!
Another piece I’ve just finished will be released
as a print at The Finn Gallery’s show in St. Petersburg, Florida,
March 16-18, and I’ll be there to sign the prints. St. Mary Our
Lady of Grace Catholic Church was built in 1929, and the Parish of St.
Mary Our Lady of Grace is 86 years old. However, Catholics were worshipping
in the St. Petersburg area much earlier. In the late 19th century, the
tiny Catholic settlement became a mission of the Jesuit-operated Sacred
Heart Church in downtown Tampa. It’s been 114 years since the
Jesuit missionaries crossed Tampa Bay by boat to say the recorded Mass
on September 11, 1892.
St. Mary Our Lady of Grace will be released during Pat's appearance
at Finn Gallery in St. Petersburg, FL, March 16-18. For more information,
call the gallery (727) 894-2899.
I’ve just started a painting to commemorate the
400th anniversary of Jamestown, Virginia, the oldest English-speaking
settlement in North America. I love history, so I’m excited about
working on this piece. When it’s a little further along, I’ll
share a picture of it. The painting will be unveiled at a special event
at my Museum on March 30.
Next week I’ll be hosting an informal meeting of the gallery and
frame shop owners who are my authorized dealers. We’ll have guest
speakers and brainstorming and information sharing sessions. It’s
shaping up to be very productive and fun at the same time, and I’m
very much looking forward to it.
’Til next week…
Love,
Pat
