Dear Friends:
I had so much fun in Atlanta this past weekend! Both The Framery and
Mount Gallery's shows were wonderful. I was delighted to see so many
people that I had first met twenty or thirty years ago. They came to
the shows this weekend and brought pictures from those long ago shows.
I so enjoyed seeing everyone and meeting their children and grandchildren.
I want to thank Barry Watson of The Framery and David Cylc of Mount
Gallery for giving me the opportunity to have such a happy weekend among
so many friends.
Gerry Paxson (left) and Peggy Powell (right), both members of the
P. Buckley Moss Society, helped out at the Mount Gallery show.
Everyone seemed pleased with The Fabulous Fox
print, and I had lots of invitations to come back next year and schedule
an extra day or two so that I can experience the beauty of the theatre
for myself. I hope it works out that I can; I would love to see the
inside of it.
Pat was delighted to see so many of her friends from the early days
when she showed in the Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta. Here she catches
up with Stanley & Stephanie Kim.
While the Northeast received a blizzard and record snowfalls,
Atlanta escaped the snow with just a little rain. My staff at The Moss
Portfolio in Mathews, Virginia, reported rain on Saturday and snow showers
on Sunday but no accumulation. It does snow in Mathews, but not that
much because of its proximity to the Chesapeake Bay. However, my youngest
daughter Ginny, who lives in Waynesboro, Virginia, was able to go sledding
with her children on her birthday!
Chiara peeks out from the snowy home she and her brother Picco carved
out from a giant snowball.
My next gallery
appearance will be with the Kenneth Paul Gallery in Iowa. I'll be
at their new location in West Des Moines on Friday, March 3, and at
their Urbandale location on Saturday, March 4. After that, I'll be showing
with Necessary Things near Cross Lanes, West Virginia, on Saturday,
March 11, and with Kitten's Korner in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia,
on Sunday, March 12. Then it's back to St. Petersburg, Florida, to show
with The Finn Gallery on March 18 and 19. I'll be earning my frequent
flyer miles this year!
Love,
Pat
