Dear Friends:
It was so wonderful having the P.
Buckley Moss Society Board of Directors at my home over the weekend
for their annual winter meeting. It was like having family around, with
so much camaraderie and caring. We discussed everything from scholarships
to the future of the Society and the P.
Buckley Moss Foundation for Children's Education.
This weekend members of The Moss
Portfolio staff and I will host our annual winter Dealers' Meeting.
This is a relaxed, informal opportunity for my authorized dealers and
my staff to get together to exchange ideas and share information.
I have a proud grandmother announcement to make: my grandson Sean Donnelly
of Radford, Virginia, won fourth place in the Virginia High School League's
Championship Wrestling Tournament. Go, Sean!
My daughter Mary's son Sean won 4th in the state for wrestling!

My staff and I are in the process of setting this year's show dates,
and we'll be updating our website
as more shows are confirmed. So far, my spring schedule is looking like
this:
March 4: Opening Reception for my exhibit with The
Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen (Va.), 804-261-2787
March 12-14: Finn Gallery, St. Petersburg, Fl., 727-894-2899
March 20-21: The Framery, Marietta, Ga., 770-977-8667
April 17: McGuire Fine Arts, Frederick, Md., 301-695-6567
April 23-25: P. Buckley
Moss Museum, Waynesboro, Va., 1-800-343-8643
June 4-5: Medlin Art, Ltd., Leesburg, Va., 703-771-8696
June 11-12: Collectors'
Convention, Williamsburg, Va., 1-800-430-1320
This Wednesday I took the day off and visited the Tampa
Museum of Art, which is a brand new, beautiful complex. If you get
down to Tampa, be sure to visit the Museum. They're also in the process
of building a children's complex. The main exhibit right now is Henri
Matisse, which I enjoyed thoroughly. It's all etchings, wood cuts, and
lithographs. The Matisse exhibit was especially interesting to me, because
I will be going to Italy for a month at the end of April and will be
working on etchings while I'm there. It's inspiring to see someone else's
work and think about the things that I want to work on myself.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Love,
Pat
