Dear Friends:
The shows in Atlanta, Georgia, were great! It was so much fun to be
there with everybody; and, even though I missed seeing a few friends
this time, I’m sure I’ll get to see them when I go back.
I would like to give a special thanks and congratulations to the members
of the Mossaphile Chapter of the P.
Buckley Moss Society. They have recently reorganized and volunteered
to help during the shows. They were wonderful and so much fun to be
with!
This was a lovely time of year to be in the area as Spring begins to
wake up the plants and trees. Another few weeks, and it will be glorious.
Barry Watson at The Framery in Marietta and David Cylc at the Mount
Gallery in Tucker made my visit a delight. They both do such beautiful
framing, and their special show print Spring at Callaway seemed
to be a big hit. Even the original sold!
Brenda and Dan Mahaffey are the proud new owners of the original
watercolor Spring
at Callaway.

Even though I was on a tight schedule, I managed to see
a couple landmarks that have appeared in two of my previous print editions
of the area. One of the places I saw was en route to The Framery’s
show. I featured Stone Mountain in a print edition by the same name
in 1993. The mountain has the largest relief sculpture in the world,
the Confederate Memorial Carving, and depicts three Southern heroes
of the Civil War: Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Generals
Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson.

Mountain, Pat's 1993 print, available as an artist's proof.
Last year Barry, David, and I released The Fabulous
Fox, which depicts Atlanta’s famous Fox Theatre. This year
I briefly saw its interior. It was magnificent—absolutely gorgeous!
I would love to go to a performance there.

as a print.
My next show will be with my own former gallery manager
Tim Finn at his gallery The Finn Gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida.
I’ll be with Tim and our friends March 16-18, and we’ll
release St. Mary Our Lady of Grace, which depicts the Catholic
Church in the downtown area closest to my house. It was built in St.
Petersburg in 1929.
St. Mary Our Lady of Grace will be released during Pat's appearance
at Finn Gallery in St. Petersburg, FL, March 16-18. For more information,
call the gallery (727) 894-2899.
’Til next week…
Love,
Pat
