Beautiful Atlanta, here we come! My daughter Becky and I will drive down Friday and stay with our dear friends Mel and Suzanne Abramovitz. I’ll be showing with Barry and Pam Watson at The Framery in Marietta, Georgia, on Saturday and Sunday, and it will be such fun to see my friends from the Mossaphile Chapter of the P. Buckley Moss Society. My shows with The Framery are always in the spring, and I’m looking forward to seeing all the blossoms on the trees and in the gardens. The Atlanta area is glorious this time of year. I love all the historic spots in Atlanta, too. It’s a thriving city, yet they have preserved all the historic homes and buildings and kept all the parks.
Starr’s Mill will be released during my show with The Framery in Marietta, GA, March 28-29. For more information, please contact the gallery at 770-977-8667.
Our drive last weekend to Winchester, Virginia, for my show with King James Galleries of Winchester was also beautiful. There was still snow on the ground in spots as we were driving up. We met my son John and daughter-in-law Maureen for dinner at a wonderful Italian restaurant in Winchester called Violinos and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Gallery manager Marian Sempeles had framed everything so beautifully for the show, especially our show print My College Memories-Shenandoah University. Becky and I toured the university while we were in town and loved the buildings and the setting. I can see why so many people love being there in the wonderful surroundings.
Surprise! My friend Cathy Gorsuch, pictured in the middle with Becky and me, came all the way from Fairplay, MD, and brought pastries!
Spring will arrive in the Valley just in time for my April 17-19 Barn Show and gallery open house. Spring in the Valley is absolutely breathtaking, and I hope you will be able to come and experience it. Our dogwood and redbud are second only to Atlanta and Washington, DC. Come visit our gallery at 329 West Main Street in downtown Waynesboro, Virginia, and see the permanent collection at The Barn.
Spring on the Lawn will be released during my April 17-19 gallery show and Barn Open House in Waynesboro, VA. For more information, please contact my gallery in Waynesboro at 540-949-6473.
I’m sure those of you who follow me on Facebook have seen all the photo-shopped photos of me in riding habits. Society member and former Board member Fred McMillin has been dressing me up and putting me in wonderful places. It’s been lots of fun!
