Dear Friends:
I had two great shows last weekend.
Lexington, Virginia, is a beautiful town, and it was such a pleasure to have lunch before Friday’s show with George Moore, who is the manager of Col Alto, and a few friends. Nancy Boggs, owner of Frame and Design, had the gallery looking wonderful, and her framing is lovely. Home to the historic Virginia Military Institute and Washington & Lee University, Lexington is a most interesting place to visit.
How exciting it was to be back in Winchester on Saturday with all the historic, beautiful buildings and the cheerful and talented group at King James Galleries of Winchester. The show was lovely, and I’m looking forward to showing with them again September 21-22 during the Edinburg Festival.
The special show giclée Visiting the Handley Library was very well received by King James’ customers. In fact, Aaron Mitchell, II, Director of Transportation for Warren County Public Schools, was so excited over the school bus in the image that he purchased three of them. Our school bus drivers have such an important job, making sure our children get to school and back home safely.
This week I am going back to St. Petersburg, Florida, for a few more weeks. I came back north too soon—it’s been snowing here—and I need to get warm again!
Happy Easter!
Love,
Pat
