Dear Friends:
Greetings from Cortona, Italy! I arrived just in time for a little early
Easter celebration. Easter isn’t celebrated quite the same in
Italy as it is in the United States, no Easter Bunny or Easter egg hunts
like we have. Since an American family has been renting my apartment,
which is below my daughter Becky and her family’s, Becky took
advantage of the opportunity and organized an early Easter egg hunt
and cookout. What fun!

The Murray’s have since left, and my granddaughters
Sofia and Michela are missing their playmates.
It’s been foggy here, but still beautiful. Cortona is just one
of those perfect places that is gorgeous no matter what season or what
weather. The weather is getting warmer, now, and I’ve been walking
every morning, enjoying the beauty around me.

I left for Italy last Thursday, and Wednesday evening
I showed my work and gave a talk at Raymond James Financial’s
International Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. There were over
300 guests, and I must admit I was a little nervous about getting up
in front of all those people. Lucky for me, the music that was supposed
to play for my intro didn’t get played. Something very different
came on instead and I started laughing. I wasn’t nervous anymore
after that, and I’ve been told that my talk went very well. Thank
you, Raymond James Financial, for a wonderful evening!
Until next week…
Ciao!
Pat
