Dear Friends:
My daughter Patty and I had a lovely show with King James Galleries of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania last weekend. A Field of Sunshine, my new print featuring sunflowers, was very popular with everyone, and the gallery framed the prints beautifully. Gettysburg is such a beautiful place, and we love our visits there. This time we stayed at the historic Gettysburg Hotel and really enjoyed it. Their restaurant was great! It’s really fun to travel around the country and become familiar with the different towns—never boring!

Next weekend, I’ll be showing with Gettysburg’s sister gallery King James Galleries of Winchester in Virginia. On Saturday, September 12, the gallery and I will be showing and signing at the Hampshire Heritage Fest in Romney, West Virginia. We will be releasing a special new print edition during the event called The Romney Trough. The Trough is a six-mile long wooded gorge carved by the South Branch Potomac River, and the South Branch Valley Railroad runs through it. The area was the site of a 1756 skirmish during the French and Indian War known as the “Battle of the Trough”. On Sunday, September 13, I’ll be showing at the gallery in Winchester, Virginia. We will also be releasing Front Royal’s Silent Night, which depicts Front Royal’s gazebo at Christmastime.
The Romney Trough, above, and Front Royal’s Silent Night, below, will be released during my show with King James Galleries of Winchester the weekend of September 12-13. For more information, please contact the gallery at 540-869-9025.
Before my show with King James Galleries of Winchester, I will have a signing event with the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen on Thursday, September 10, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
This weekend is reserved for fun with friends and family. Virginia Tech is having its big game with Ohio State University, and the whole town of Blacksburg is looking forward to it. We have friends coming all the way from Ohio to stay with me and at my daughter Mary’s. We’ll be wearing our VT colors of orange and maroon, while our friends Randy and Ginny Myers will be arriving from Ohio in OSU’s colors of scarlet and gray. We are all looking forward to having some good fun.
Comin’ Around the Mountain is this year’s annual Christmas print and will retail at $75. Prints may be purchased from either your favorite authorized Moss dealer or from P. Buckley Moss Galleries, Ltd. For more information, please call 804-725-7378.
Have a happy and safe Labor Day Weekend!
Love,
