Dear Friends,

I’m finally back in Mathews, and you’ll be happy to know that I’m signing away on convention prints and special personalization orders. The air is so much cooler than in Florida, and the leaves on the trees are beginning to hint at changing for fall. In Waynesboro the leaves will already be beautiful—fall arrives in the Valley before it comes to Tidewater. Just a few more days and I’ll be seeing many of you at The Barn!

Framing Art donated the framing for this Winter Wonderland, which will be raffled by the Southside Virginia Chapter of the P. Buckley Moss Society. Proceeds of the raffle will benefit the Children's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Magnolia Grange, Framing Art's show print, is now available.

This morning I was up bright and early to meet Jerri Saunders of Framing Art, Inc., at my Distribution Center. Jerri drove from Chester, Virginia, which is near Richmond, to bring prints and framed pieces for me to sign after her show last month. Jerri’s show print was Magnolia Grange and depicts an antebellum, Federal-style plantation house in Chesterfield County.

Harvest Morn will be released November 19-20 at Martin's Gallery.

Harpers Ferry, WV depicts the site of John Brown's rebellion against slavery.

My staff and I are really excited about the next few pieces I’m going to show you. Harvest Morn is for Martin’s Gallery and will be released at their show November 19-20. I’m especially eager to see how everyone likes this piece—I’ll be at Martin’s show!

Winter's Grace will be released at the December Barn Show.

Also for the Barn Show, The Perfect Tree.

The next three pieces will be released at the December Barn Show. I’m pleased with the way Harpers Ferry, WV turned out. It’s hard to believe this beautiful, serene town was the site of John Brown’s infamous rebellion against slavery in 1859. We’ll also be releasing The Perfect Tree, memorializing the annual search for just the right Christmas tree, and Winter’s Grace, celebrating the joy of skating.

That’s all for this week—I have to dash off to Waynesboro.

Love,
Pat
