I had another great show with Framecraft in Warrenton, Virginia, this past weekend. Gallery owners Mark and Meleana Moore have a new baby, and he is adorable—almost stole the show for me! Shirley Collins, Pat Jones, and Cheryl Marsh and her husband, who are members of Pat’s Blue Goose Chapter of the P. Buckley Moss Society, were volunteers. It was wonderful showing in such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Framecraft does an outstanding job with their framing, and everything was beautiful.
Friday night we attended the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce’s 27th Annual Meeting and Awards Gala. Even though the crowd was enormous, the people were lovely and truly cared for one another. It was lots of fun. The Society donated a remarqued Virginia is for Lovers, which debuted at Framecraft’s show, and Mark and Meleana donated the framing. It was auctioned during the gala to benefit the Chamber of Commerce and generated a lot of enthusiasm.
Wednesday evening I’ll be at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the opening reception and signing for my exhibit there which runs from October 31, 2013, to January 5, 2014. For more information, please contact the Center at 804-261-ARTS.
My next stop is Kingsport, Tennessee, for my show with Mike and Lisa Anne Milhorn at Up Against the Wall Gallery. My daughter Mary is going with me, and I’ll pick her up in Radford, Virginia, along the way. Mike and Lisa Anne and I will release Christmas at Church Circle this weekend.
Christmas at Church Circle will be released during my show with Up Against the Wall Gallery in Kingsport, TN, November 22-23. For more information, please contact the gallery at 423-246-7210.
