Dear Friends:
What a beautiful Barn Show we had this past weekend! The Lord gave me
my taste of snow in the Valley before I leave for Florida. I love to
experience the magic of the snow on the mountains and trees! So many
people found their way to the Barn Show on Friday when I didn't think
anyone would venture out; but, the sun came out and melted the ice on
the roads, and all was well! Members of the Moss on the James Chapter
of the P. Buckley Moss Society
even made it Sunday morning for our annual breakfast together. What
fun! Good food with good friends!

It was very nice to see so many of my authorized dealers
this past week and weekend. They came from near and not-so-near to bring
their customers' prints for me to sign in time for Christmas. I loved
seeing them all and missed a few "regulars" who didn't make
it.
Everyone at The Barn Sunday afternoon experienced a special treat when
the Stewart Middle School Honors Choir arrived and entertained us with
Christmas carols from around the world. What a wonderful group of kids!

This past Tuesday I was most honored when Delegate Steve
Landes came to the Museum
to present me with a framed copy of House Joint Resolution No. 738,
commending me for supporting the goals and work of the P.
Buckley Moss Foundation for Children's Education. Delegate Landes
represents the 25th District in the Virginia House of Delegates, which
includes the City of Waynesboro and a portion of Albemarle, Augusta,
and Rockingham Counties.
I am very grateful to have this recognition from the Virginia General
Assembly, but it wouldn't be possible without the support of you, the
collectors, and the dedication of the Foundation's Board of Directors
and staff. I thank each and every one of you!

Even though the December Barn Show is over, the Christmas
spirit is still in full force at the Museum, which is planning more
festive activities for this coming weekend. Storyteller Susan Blanton
will return on Saturday, December 17, at 1:00 p.m. to entertain everyone
with her delightful stories for young and old. Also, the Valley Children's
Choral Society will come to the Museum to sing Christmas carols. These
programs, which are sponsored by the P. Buckley Moss Foundation for
Children's Education, are free to the public, and the first fifty children
will receive a free gift! To sign up, please call the Museum at 1-800-343-8643
or 540-949-6473.
Love,
Pat
