Dear Friends:

It was such fun to be in the Washington, DC, area again, showing with my friends Margaret Moser and her son Michael at the Moser Gallery in Fairfax, Virginia.  I saw so many old friends and quite a few new ones, too.

Pat and Patty were delighted to see their old friend Sylvia Bush, who comes to all the shows in the area.  Sylvia’s husband Bob took all our pictures of the Moser Gallery show.

Patty, Michael Moser, Pat and Michael's mother, Margaret, with the new giclée, Flowers on Red.

I had forgotten how many people live and work in our nation’s capital, but there really are so many great people there.  Many of them work at the Pentagon and shared with me their memories of September 11, 2001.

Michael helps a customer select framing for the Society Members' Only giclée, Just Visiting, which is available to members of the Society who join or renew before December 31, 2006. For more information, contact your P. Buckley Moss dealer or the Society at (540) 943-5678.

Pat chats with the Donahue’s while signing their purchases.  Marita had the most beautiful smile, and with good reason; he bought her everything!”

Our capital is so beautiful!  I loved it when I lived there, and I love to go back and visit whenever I have the chance.  I wish I had more time to see the exhibit at the National Gallery while I was there this past weekend.  So many things to do and see; so little time!

Pat enjoys meeting Vladimir Rozenblatt, who immigrated here from the Ukraine.  Vladimir currently sings and plays with the American Balalaika Symphony.

This week I’m packing and preparing to leave for St. Petersburg, Florida, where I’ll spend the winter months.  Just call me a “snowbird.”  I hope to get lots of rest and lots of paintings completed.

While I’m driving to Florida, my Museum in Waynesboro, Virginia, will be hosting a children’s program.  On Saturday, December 16, at 1:00 p.m. storyteller Susan Clark will captivate children of all ages with her stories.  There will also be a special performance by the Valley Music Academy, and I’ve been told that Santa Claus himself will make an appearance!  What fun!

Love,
Pat
